Delta Gamma

Campus Involvement

We take pride in shaping the Greek experience through collaboration, service, and strong sisterhood. But our involvement doesn't stop there, Delta Gammas are proud ambassadors for our University in many areas of campus life. From academic honor societies to student-led organizations, to athletic teams, volunteer organizations, and more. Our members are passionate about making a difference. Whether mentoring first-year students, organizing philanthropic events, or leading club initiatives, Delta Gammas strive to embody leadership, integrity, and service in all that they do!

Emily Slate, Spirit Squad

Being on the University of Tulsa’s Spirit Squad and a member of Delta Gamma has been an incredibly rewarding experience that fills my college life with pride, purpose, and community. Representing TU at games and events as part of the Spirit Squad allows me to channel my energy and school spirit into something truly meaningful, while also building strong bonds with my teammates. At the same time, being in Delta Gamma has given me a supportive sisterhood where I’ve formed lifelong friendships, grown as a leader, and embraced the values of service and compassion. Both organizations have shaped my college journey in the best way, and I truly cherish every moment I get to spend with them.

Ashley Seale, Best Buddies

Being involved with Best Buddies has honestly been one of the most rewarding parts of my college experience. As Head of Social Media and on the Executive Board, I’ve had the chance to connect with so many incredible people, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). It’s been amazing to build real friendships with individuals who bring such joy and authenticity to my life. Every time I get to see my Best Buddies friends, it’s the highlight of my week. I feel like I’ve grown so much through those relationships and learned so much about patience, kindness, and what it means to truly be there for someone. Delta Gamma encourages us to get involved with outside organizations, and I’m so grateful to have found Best Buddies, it’s given me a sense of purpose beyond just my sorority, and it’s a great reminder that college is about more than just academic success; it’s about making meaningful connections and giving back.

Allyson Terry, Junior Panhellenic Council

Being Vice President of Junior Panhellenic has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my college experience so far. I oversee a group of freshman women, each representing a different sorority, and help them get a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be part of the Panhellenic community. Every week, I lead our meetings, plan educational discussions, and find creative ways to introduce them to the values and philanthropies of each house on Sorority Row. It’s been so special to watch them go from unsure new members to women who are genuinely excited about Greek life and eager to get involved. What makes this position so meaningful to me is knowing that I get to be a small part of their journey while also giving back to the greater Greek community. I love fostering cross-chapter friendships, encouraging community service, and building a sense of unity through our JPC events. This role has shown me how powerful sisterhood can be when it’s rooted in connection, support, and a shared purpose.

Jordan Ogee, Women In Business

Being Treasurer for Women In Business has been a great way for me to be more involved on campus. Holding leadership positions in DG and WIB is not just for the title, it’s building a skill that will benefit me for the rest of my life. In WIB, my role is primarily financial, but all of WIB Exec works together and has a wide variety of tasks, such as overseeing sisterhoods and luncheons where WIB members get to support each other and hear from entrepreneurial female leaders. By serving in multiple organizations, I get to experience different dynamics, problems, and collaborations, and grow my social network, while also supporting women and organizations that mean a lot to me. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be involved on campus and to have sisters who support me in everything that I do.

Makayla Reyes, Athletic Trainer, Pathways to Sports Academy

Working as an athletic trainer for The Golden Hurricane has been one of the most rewarding parts of my freshman year. As a member of the Pathway to Sports Academy, I get the opportunity to work hands-on with licensed athletic trainers, doctors, coaches, and other students who have the same passion as me. At the same time, being engaged with Delta Gamma has been a completely different kind of learning experience built around sisterhood, service, and community. My Delta Gamma sisters fill my days with laughter and meaningful service projects that remind me how powerful sisterhood can be. These dual communities remind me that being involved isn’t just about building skills, it’s about forming bonds, lifting each other, and making a positive impact that goes well beyond game day or Greek life.

Scarlett Wright, Baptist Collegiate Ministries

I have been involved in campus ministry at BCM ever since I stepped foot onto campus this past fall. At first, I was worried I couldn’t do both BCM and a sorority, but because of my supportive sisters in Delta Gamma and the way they really encourage me to invest my time in the things that fill me up, I have been able to be involved in BCM and DG. BCM has helped me grow so much in my faith and made me a better sister to all of the amazing women in DG. I always have a group of girls to come home to and tell them what I learned during Bible study. Being able to be involved in both BCM and DG has expanded my network tremendously and helped me make so many new friends that I consider family. I am so glad to be in BCM because it’s a place where I have grown my relationship with Jesus so much, and I’m very thankful to belong to a house of girls that help me balance all the wonderful things I have on my plate.

Kyra Daleiden, Asian American Student Association

Being involved in the Asian American Student Association (AASA) has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. Growing up in a predominantly white area, I didn’t always feel connected with my culture, but AASA has given me a space to explore and celebrate my identity. Attending events like the Lunar New Year celebration and Moon Festival has helped me learn more about my heritage in a fun way while being in a supportive community. Now, as a member of the executive team, I get the opportunity to create these experiences for others. I love having the ability to bring parts of my culture and what I’ve learned back to my sisters. It’s a reminder of the importance of diversity and how meaningful it is to uplift and learn from each other.

Kiera Yadlosky, Gen1TU

As President of Gen1TU, I have loved getting to serve first-generation students like me for the past two years. I think it is so important for first-generation students to have both access to resources and be knowledgeable about where to find them. With the help of my officers, I brainstorm, plan, and execute events for students to connect with other individuals who may be going through something similar. My leadership roles in DG have shaped me and sharpened my skills to be able to lead with confidence and think about every possible challenge we could face as a group, but also efficiently find a solution for it.

Brittney Bentz, Peer Mentor

Being a Peer Mentor was truly one of the best experiences I had while being at The University of Tulsa! Over three years in this position, I served as a mentor for first-year and transfer students who were navigating their first year at TU. I learned how to foster meaningful connections and assist new students with challenges that come with beginning college. I’m so grateful that I was able to do this and still be heavily involved in the chapter, while holding several positions. Participating outside of the chapter has helped me gain new connections and learn new skills that have allowed me to thrive throughout my time at TU. I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunities I was able to have. ITB & Reign Cane!
